STF ( Standard Tension Force) is the actual tensioning force of the lashing strap after the ratchet has been tightened to 50 daN ( Standard Manual Force - SHF ). Discard maturity of lashing means: Lashings shall be inspected for obvious defects before use.If defects are found that affect safety, the lashings shall no longer be used.
