The ESD compatible MILES Mid ESD S3 from the ELTENWELLMAXX series is an unusual safety boot. It has a midsole made of Infinergy®, an expanded thermoplastic polyurethane. It was developed by BASF and has an unprecedented damping and recovery capability. Previously only used in sportshbshoes, the first safety shoe series has ELTENrecently been equipped with it. When running, the wearer regains part of his energy. The sporty, almost classic-looking MILES has a plastic cap and a steel midsole to protect the feet. Its hard-wearing upper materials cowhide and hydrophobic nubuck leather repel liquids. The safety boots themselves bewahrt an abrasion-resistant tip protection against premature wear. A special outsole that is easy on the joints prevents slipping and at the same time allows (almost) frictionless turning on the spot.
